Navimow X4 Error Code 7106: GNSS Module Error

Code 7106 points to a fault in the X4 GNSS module, the hardware the mower uses for satellite-based positioning and navigation.

Reviewed by the RobotMower.help editorial team. Independent guidance based on the manufacturer source linked below.

Quick answer

Navimow identifies error 7106 as “Mower GNSS Module Error.”

Press STOP to clear the code. If it remains, restart the mower and try again. If 7106 returns, contact Navimow support with the serial number, exact time, and photos or video.

Fix it in this order

  1. Press STOP. Note whether the code clears or immediately returns.
  2. Restart the mower. Allow it to shut down completely before powering it back on.
  3. Move to an open area for the check. An open sky view is useful when confirming normal positioning after the restart, although code 7106 specifically identifies a module fault rather than ordinary weak reception.
  4. Start a short test only if positioning is restored. Keep the mower under observation.
  5. Escalate a returning code. A persistent module error is not a yard-layout problem you should attempt to repair internally.

Do not confuse a module error with weak signal

Trees, walls, and roofs can weaken satellite reception, but code 7106 is documented as a GNSS module fault. If a restart does not clear it, changing the map or repeatedly relocating the dock is unlikely to repair the underlying module.

What the error means

GNSS is the satellite-positioning layer used by the mower to determine location. When that module reports a fault, boundary tracking and navigation may be unavailable or unreliable.

If the app only reports weak positioning without code 7106, start with placement and sky-view checks in our GPS and RTK troubleshooting hub. When 7106 is present, follow the code-specific reset and escalation path here.

What to record before contacting support

  • The mower serial number
  • The exact date and time the code appeared
  • A photo, video, or screenshot of the message
  • What the mower was doing immediately before the error

Frequently asked questions

GPS is one satellite navigation system within the broader GNSS category. The mower may use signals from multiple satellite constellations.

Not usually. Better placement can help weak reception, but the manufacturer describes 7106 as a GNSS module error.

Run only a short observed test. If positioning is unstable or the code returns, stop and contact support.
