If the code returns after one controlled retry, preserve the evidence and contact Navimow support rather than repeatedly resetting the mower.

Communication between the mower’s internal components or modules was interrupted. The code identifies the system reporting the fault, but it does not by itself confirm which component must be replaced.
The most useful owner checks concern a temporary internal module interruption, software communication fault, or hardware connection problem. Keep them external and reversible so you do not create a safety risk or remove useful diagnostic evidence.
Error 4101 belongs to the i2 AWD hardware and communication cluster. Compare it with error 4101 for internal communication, error 7102 for wheel-encoder data, and error 6110 for motion-control response.
Complete the official steps and supervise one short task. A single cleared alert may be temporary.
Stop repeated resets. An immediate recurrence points away from a one-time condition and toward a fault that needs manufacturer diagnosis.
Turn the mower fully off before checking wheels, the underside, sensors, buttons, cables, or charging contacts. Do not open the battery pack, steering assembly, motors, ACU, IMU, or sealed electronics. Do not force wheels or steering parts.

Press STOP to clear the code. Restart the mower once if clearing it does not work.
Only after the code clears and the mower completes a short supervised test without abnormal movement, steering, charging, positioning, or safety behavior.
Contact Navimow support when the code returns after the official steps, appears immediately after restart, or the mower cannot operate safely.
If you started with the mower behavior rather than the code, use our guide to Navimow i2 AWD software crashes. It compares this alert with similar i2 AWD faults.
