| Code | 3109 |
|---|---|
| Official meaning | Wheel Motor Current Protection |
| Common condition | A wheel obstruction or excessive drive load |
The mower measured overcurrent in a wheel motor. That protection can activate when a wheel is physically blocked or heavily loaded. The code does not prove that the motor itself must be replaced.
Error 3109 concerns wheel-motor current protection. Compare error 3110 for a wheel motor error, error 7102 for wheel-encoder data, and error 6108 when the mower reports that it cannot move.
For symptom-first diagnosis, use the Navimow i2 AWD not moving guide.
Power the mower off before checking the wheels or underside. Do not reach beneath an active mower, force a wheel, open a sealed motor, or repeat restarts while the wheel remains blocked.
It means the mower detected excessive current in one of its wheel motors.
Yes. Packed grass or another obstruction can increase wheel-motor load. The official description also notes excessive load as a possible cause.
Contact support if the wheels are clear and the code persists after one restart, or if it returns during a short test on level ground.
