Charging and docking

Robot Mower Charging Problems

Diagnose dock alignment, dirty contacts, station power, battery faults and return-to-charge failures without erasing maps or settings.

Robot Mower Charging Problems

Start with the symptom

Narrow the charging failure first

A mower that cannot find the dock needs a different fix from one that docks correctly but will not accept a charge.

Will not return

Inspect the approach path, station position, guide wire or positioning status before moving the dock.

Docks but will not charge

Check mains power, charging contacts, corrosion, spring-loaded pins and battery temperature.

Stops during charging

Look for intermittent power, wet or contaminated contacts, overheating and firmware alerts.

Battery drains unusually fast

Separate battery aging from heavy terrain, blocked blades, cold weather and excessive wheel load.
